(1) In addition to other duties, duties and rights written in this Act, an Organ Transplantation Coordinating Committee will be formed with the following chairman and members to prepare policies, plans and programs related to organ transplantation and submit them to the Government of Nepal:-
(a) Senior Physician nominated by the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Three doctors nominated by the Government of Nepal – members
(c) Representative, Gazetted First Class or equivalent Ministry – Member
(d) Representative, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs – Member
(e) Representative, Nepal Medical Council – Member
(f) Representative, Nepal Medical Association – Member
(g) Director General, Department of Health Services – Member-Secretary
(2) According to clauses (a) and (b) of sub-section (1), the term of office of the nominated chairman and members shall be two years and after the expiry of the term of office, they may be re-nominated.

(4) If the committee deems it necessary, it may invite an expert or consultant to participate in the meeting of the committee as an observer.
(5) The procedure for the meeting of the committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
(6) Necessary budget for the committee will be provided by the Government of Nepal (7) The meeting of the chairman and members of the committee will be as per the prescribed allowances and other facilities.
(8) The Secretariat of the Committee shall be in the Department of Health Services of the Government of Nepal.
